A good friend of mine just came back from his trip to Hawai'i. He created a blog and shared his impressions with his envious friends (that includes me, too). That's the good thing about the information age; all you need is laptop and a digital camera and you can share your vacation memories right away.
What else do you need? Picasa!
Google's media management software is the perfect solution for every laptop. It is compatible with most digital cameras and it detects your camera at your USB port. So it's pretty easy to import pictures into albums. Picasa also features some basic editing tools such as picture cropping, red-eye removal and switching from color to black&white. You can create slide shows and collages. With Picasa you can upload your pictures from your laptop to your Picasa Web Albums. Yes, Picasa is the perfect software to store photographs from digital cameras on your laptop.
Picasa is free, but notebooks and digital cameras aren't. So if you are looking for cheap laptops and low priced cameras, check out Savebuckets.co.uk for price comparison.

We have been using the Picasa program for a couple of years. As clowns, we have thousands of pictures taken in a years time. The program is simple to use even for a 12 year old clown which is the clown age for Silly Willy. Give it a try!
You'll like it.

Upload pictures from your cell phone to Picasa:
You will first need to down load them from your phone to your computer, then up load them to Picasa 3.Pictures from cell phone or camera to computer. If your phone has email capabilities activated, email the pictures to your self. If not do the following.
Remove the memory card from your phone and insert it into the adapter that came with the memory card and insert it into the drive slot in your computer.Click start then My Pictures, create a new folder and name it. Click start then My Computer, double click the drive that has the memory card.Either copy and paste or drag and drop the pictures from the memory card to the folder you just created.
