MacBook - the number one on my wishlist

I want a MacBook!
Yes, I really like to have the notebook from Apple.

Personally I prefer a desktop computer to a notebook, but it is different with the MacBook. I like the design and I like the Mac OS. I really dig the innovative features like the two-finger-controlled touchpad or the MagSafe Power Adapter, a power cord with magnetic connection.
When I tell my friends about my desire for the MacBook, they always come up with the same arguments like it's too expensive or they say I should buy a Sony Vaio because it has also an unique design but much more processing power, more RAM and you can use it for gaming.
Yeah, maybe the MacBook is expensive compared to other notebooks, but I think you buy more than just a piece of computer. You buy a lifestyle and a statement!

Oh, yes I want a Macbook!

My first computer was a apple; green and black. So you can imagine how old it was. No hard drive, have to boot into prompt using a 5.25".

I love Macbook too. Personally, I don't think it is very expensive considering the quality and build of it. To have the same spec in terms of technically and physically, Sony Vaio cost almost the same as a Macbook. But OS in Macbook is well-known for its stability and quality.

Personally, if you got the money, just get one and most probably, you will not regret it.

For me, I don't think that I will be spending my money on macbook yet because I am looking for something which is really portable.

I aim to buy a laptop at the end of the year and even though I thought of getting a Macbook, I finally decide on Asus EEE because it is cheap and small. I wouldn't want to carry something 2kg - 3kg around all the time.

Well a MacBook is a great investment if your doing lot of video/audio editing. They are super fast and stable. Heck they are great for any media development. and of course it looks great haha. I also hear they have having new macbooks out this fall so you might want to wait.

Of course the OS is to die for...but my MacBook has brought me some trouble. 6 months later I have a dead battery and my trackpad mouse makes a wierd crunching noise when I press it on the sides. Sure it's a design statement, but I would wait to see what Apple has in store for it's loyal 8% marketshare fanbase in Q4. It is rumored that Apple will be launched a new touchscreen laptop - like a big iPhone - soon.

I like and would not mind having a Mac Book myself but I don't buy into that lifestyle statement that Apple successfully promotes.
They should have laptops starting at $500-$700 like everybody else.
